The challenge.
As a leader in the personalized photo products industry, Ifolor faced a pressing need to upgrade its e-commerce platform to better serve its expanding customer base. The goal was to implement a scalable and robust solution capable of handling high traffic volumes while improving the overall user experience. Additionally, Ifolor needed to modernize its backend system to enable more efficient data processing and product configurations. With an ongoing migration to the Azure cloud for enhanced scalability and performance, Ifolor required expert guidance and a dedicated team to ensure a smooth transition without disrupting operations.

To meet Ifolor’s objectives, we assembled a dedicated 16-member team of engineers across various disciplines. The team developed a completely new backend infrastructure from scratch, ensuring scalability and improved system performance. Leveraging Shopware, the team developed a modern e-commerce platform designed to improve product discovery, selection, and checkout processes. A team of three cloud experts managed the migration to Microsoft Azure, enabling a scalable infrastructure capable of handling traffic surges during peak seasons. This migration eliminated the need for costly excess hardware while ensuring optimal performance year-round.
